KUALA LUMPUR, 12 February 2018 – MIT Innovation Sdn Bhd, the R&D arm of MIT Technologies, has been awarded
MTDC’s Commercialisation Research Development Fund (CRFD) worth RM 2.4million (US$ 600,000). The CRDF funding is an enabling scheme that will contribute to increasing the production capacity and operating fleet.
The cheque was presented by MTDC Chairman Dato’ Latt Shariman Abdullah, and MTDC CEO Dato’ Norhalim bin Yunus and was received by En Razis B. Ahmad, the company’s Director of Corporate Affairs.
During the same event, The Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) welcomed ten more companies to its ecosystem today at a mock cheque presentation ceremony. The event witnessed ten companies receiving a total of RM22 million ($ 5.6million) funding via MTDC’s Commercialisation Research Development Fund (CRFD) and Technology Acquisition Fund (TAF). There were nine CRDF companies that received RM20 million and one TAF company received RM2 million for 2017
