MIT Technologies & University Malaya signed an MOU for Research & Development of new technology to address needs for upstream sector of Oil & Gas Industry. New products out of this collaboration are targeted to improve well economics particularity in drilling and completion activities. The joint efforts will enrich the parties local and international IP portfolio as well as enhance industry academia relationship. Prof. Dato Dr. Mohd Amin Jalaludin, UM Vice Chancellor signed on behalf of UM, and Mr. Ahmed Tahoun, CEO MIT Technologies signed on behalf of the company. The event was among the MPRC Industry and Networking Talk organized by Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation and was witnessed by Datuk Shahrul Helmi, MPRC President and CEO, Dato’ Dzulkifli Mahmud, MATRADE CEO, Datuk Ir (Dr) Abdul Rahim Hj Hashim, UTP Vice Chancellor & CEO, PROF Datuk Dr Wahid Omar, UTM Vice Chancellor and industry leads in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
