MIT Technologies was honored by the visit of His Excellency Gamal Abdelrehim Metwally,  the Ambassador of Egypt to Malaysia on 5th of December 2018. The Egypt-Malaysia bilateral relationship is historical and the visit is marking a recognition of milestone achievement in investment and bi-lateral collaborative technology development in the Oil & Gas industry. His Excellency toured the new CNC manufacturing facility and extended to the team members encouragement and support.

The intelligent Circulation While Drilling (iCWD) technology has received the Japanese "Good Design Award". Receiving the award on behalf of the company is En. Nik Mustapha Fathil, Founder of MIT Technologies. Joined him during the award ceremony in Tokyo, Japan, is En Razis Ahmad, Director of Corporate Affairs. The intelligent Circulation While Drilling tool (iCWD) enables the drilling operator to retrieve Radioactive (RA) sources installed in 3rd party downhole Logging While Drilling (LWD) tools, where applicable, ensuring a high level of safety and environmentally friendly drilling operation. KUALA LUMPUR, 12 February 2018 – MIT Innovation Sdn Bhd, the R&D arm of MIT Technologies, has been awarded MTDC’s Commercialisation Research Development Fund (CRFD) worth RM 2.4million (US$ 600,000).
